Purpose and Objective
SAP Labs, LLC seeks a professional to be responsible for the effective and efficient delivery of customer environments in the Cloud for respective product lines, ensuring delivery according to defined Service Level Agreements.
Expectations and Tasks
- Utilize various technologies (e.g., database, platform) used by development and operations.
- Drive automation and standardization.
- Collaborate with engineering, product management, and other service groups.
- Improve system landscape support in assigned functional areas.
- Provide independent assurance of effective system operations along the software lifecycle.
- Provide knowledge management within the team and between operations and development.
- Ensure excellent quality and maintain high standards in all processes.
- Contribute to operations models, processes, and procedures.
- Perform project and program management.
Education and Occupational Experience
Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field plus two (2) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. Alternatively, a Master's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field is accepted.
Qualifications and Skills
Prior experience, internship, or academic coursework must include:
- Programming languages: Java, Scala, and Python.
- Databases: PostgreSQL and Redis.
- Cloud Platforms: Google Cloud Platform, Azure, and AWS.
- Agile software development.
- Defining user stories and leading live demos.
- Project management tools: JIRA and GitHub.
- Automated testing techniques.
- Event-triggered architecture (publish and subscription).
Compensation and Benefits
Annual Base Salary Range: $115,740 - $196,740.
Targeted Combined Range (Base + Variable): $128,600 - $218,600.
Actual offers are dependent on education, skills, experience, scope, and location.
