Purpose and Objective

SAP Labs, LLC seeks a professional to work in a cross-functional development or testing team with a special focus on quality assurance and test-related tasks.

Expectations and Tasks

  • Plan and execute tests.
  • Implement automated test cases.
  • Plan and organize preventive quality measures such as code reviews.
  • Identify error-prone areas and support decision-making regarding improvements.
  • Support the definition of test scope, quality targets, test landscapes, and overall quality strategy.
  • Serve in team roles such as a Scrum team member, tester, or mentor for junior and external testers.

Education and Occupational Experience

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field plus two (2) years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Alternatively, a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is accepted.

Qualifications, Skills, and Competencies

Prior experience, internship, or academic coursework must include:

  • Creating test landscapes in Unix/Linux environments.
  • Setting up IDE and Java for test scripting.
  • Authoring test plans and designing test automation using Java, Groovy, Selenium WebDriver, or Katalon Studio.
  • Maintaining automation systems to execute complex tests (1500+), stabilizing tests, and fixing defects.
  • Designing, implementing, and executing unit, functional, regression, system, and integration test plans.
  • Executing SQL queries and performing backend validation.

Compensation Range Transparency

The annual base salary range is $133,432 - $178,740. The targeted combined range (base salary and variable incentive) is $133,432 - $198,600. Actual offers depend on education, skills, experience, and location.
