Purpose and Objective
SAP Labs, LLC seeks a professional to be responsible for the effective and efficient delivery of customer environments in Cloud of respective product lines and to ensure the delivery according to defined Service Level Agreements.
Expectations and Tasks
- Deliver SAP Cloud Applications as a Service from SAP managed datacenters and hyperscalers.
- Utilize various technologies (e.g., database, platform) used by development and operations.
- Drive for automation and standardization.
- Ensure smooth operations and maximize uptime.
- Collaborate with engineering, product management, and other service groups.
- Improve system landscape support in assigned functional areas.
- Provide independent assurance of effective system operations along the software lifecycle.
- Provide knowledge management in the team and between operations and development.
- Ensure excellent quality and maintain high standards in all processes.
- Contribute to operations models, processes, and procedures.
- Project or Program management.
Education and Occupational Experience
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field and six (6) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. Alternatively, a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field and four (4) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
Qualifications/Skills and Competencies
Experience must involve four (4) years in the following:
- Cloud Technologies (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
- Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible)
- Containerization Technologies (Kubernetes and Docker)
- Monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, and Dynatrace)
- Scripting languages (Python, Bash, or PowerShell)
- Database Management (MongoDB or PostgreSQL in cloud environments)
- CI/CD pipelines and tools (Jenkins, GitLab, Azure Devops, or GitOps)
Compensation Range Transparency
The annual base salary range for this position is $152,504 - $259,336. The targeted combined range, inclusive of base salary and variable incentive, is $173,300 - $294,700. The actual offer will depend on education, skills, experience, scope, and location.
