Purpose and Objective

SAP America, Inc. seeks a professional to work on UX concepts for business applications.

Expectations and Tasks

• Ensure the relevance of designs and work closely with the application units within SAP CX.
• Expose concepts and designs to customers and end users for feedback.
• Involve in interaction design while being empathetic towards end-users.
• Define and communicate new application designs and interaction concepts or build upon and extend existing concepts.
• Abstract and generalize requirements to ensure relevance and scale of work.
• Broaden horizon on design methodologies, technologies, and upcoming trends.

Education and Occupational Experience

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Graphic Design, Engineering, or a related field plus six (6) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience.
• Alternatively, a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Graphic Design, Engineering, or a related field plus four (4) years of experience.

Qualifications/Skills and Competencies

Experience must involve four (4) years in the following:

• Proposing innovative design solutions for features and functions defined by product teams.
• Creating product specific UI guidelines.
• Proposing UI Patterns and building blocks to solve detailed interaction problems.
• Transferring use case definitions into complete UI designs for complex products.
• Creating high fidelity prototypes for demos and usability testing.
• Planning usability studies to test UI standard building blocks and pattern concepts and recording formative data.
• Using design and usability testing tools including Figma, Sketch, Adobe, and usertesting.com.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual base salary range for this position is $117,656 - $200,200. The targeted combined range (base salary and variable incentive) is $133,700 - $227,500. Actual offers depend on education, skills, experience, and location.
