Purpose and Objective

SAP America, Inc. seeks a Solution Advisor Senior Specialist at our Newtown Square, PA location to interact with prospective customers through executive meetings, discovery conversations, solution demonstrations, executive presentations, and follow up discussions.

Expectations and Tasks

• Serve as a Solution Captain during active sales cycle to manage complex customer engagements.
• Collaborate with sales and XME teams to plan and execute business development strategies through the use of creative techniques such as Design Thinking.
• Compose and deliver superior sales presentations covering SAP and partner software solutions to prospective customer audiences.
• Prepare and work on the personalization of materials to ensure delivery of a simple, appealing, and compelling customer presentation.
• Conduct discovery sessions with representatives from the prospective clients and develop relationship with the latter to understand their unique needs.
• Plan and conduct dry runs with the sales department to align and rehearse customer presentations.
• Deliver presentations to customers remotely using various virtual technologies including SAP Virtual Studio and Adobe Connect.
• Provide limited post-sales support to key customers primarily to the project/implementation team for smooth transition.
• Support one-to many sales and marketing events both on-site and remotely.
• Lead and support Design Thinking workshops to promote new and innovative solutions for customers and prospects.
• Collaborate with the sales team to identify whitespace opportunities at accounts.
• Develop close relationships with sales teams to promote effective sales methodologies.
• Participate in demo system design and planning and assist in configuration process.
• Participate in new product release input while testing and training peers.

Education and Occupational Experience

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field of study and six (6) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. Alternatively, a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field of study and four (4) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.

Qualifications/Skills and Competencies Experience

Experience must involve four (4) years in the following:

• SAP IBP (Integrated Business Planning) Product Knowledge;
• SAP S/4 HANA Product Knowledge;
• Demand, Supply Planning, Sales & Operations Planning, and Inventory Optimization; and
• Long and short term Supply Chain Planning and Forecasting.

Experience must involve two (2) years in the following:

• SAP Products (ECC or APO).

Travel

Position requires up to 50% domestic and international travel to various and unanticipated client sites, to unanticipated customer sites or conference, attending meetings, giving presentations, sharing SAP software.

Compensation Range Transparency

The annual base salary range for this position is $140,795 - $205,800. The targeted combined range for this position is $256,400 - $435,800. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc.
