Purpose and Objective

SAP America, Inc. seeks a professional responsible for applications/systems designs, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes, according to business requirements and technical limitations.

Expectations and Tasks

  • Design the functionality of required features and ensure a great user experience, iterating based on user feedback and research.
  • Translate concepts into user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes that lead to intuitive experiences.
  • Utilize research findings to inform designs and make decisions related to core and new functions.
  • Take a user-centered design approach and rapidly test and iterate designs.
  • Communicate design processes, ideas, and solutions to teams and clients.
  • Work effectively in a team setting, synthesizing abstract ideas into concrete design implications.
  • Collaborate closely with teams and stakeholders via a distributed model to deliver design solutions.
  • Resolve user pain points through effective design.

Education and Occupational Experience

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Management, Graphic Design (with a focus in User Exp. & Web), or a related field, plus one (1) year of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Alternatively, a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in the aforementioned fields.

Qualifications/Skills and Competencies

Prior experience, internship, or academic coursework must include:

  1. Prototyping tools (Figma, Sketch, Invision, Adobe XD, and Axure).
  2. Applying user research principles and analyzing qualitative/quantitative data.
  3. Iterating designs based upon research, data, and findings.
  4. HTML and CSS.
  5. Responsive Web Design, Web Interfaces, and Cloud Applications.
  6. Conceptualization processes (sketching, wireframing, and paper prototyping).
  7. Visual and Interaction design standards.

Compensation Range Transparency

The annual base salary range for this position is $76,410 - $129,870. The targeted combined range (base salary and variable incentive) is $84,900 - $144,300.
