About the Role
We're partnering with a rapidly expanding healthcare organization specializing in primary care and health plan services. They are currently undertaking a significant initiative to consolidate their legacy infrastructure into a modern, unified data platform. To drive this transformation, they are seeking a seasoned DevOps Engineer.
Key Responsibilities
- Infrastructure Ownership: Take charge of infrastructure reliability, cost optimization, and platform scalability.
- Immediate Impact: Focus on right-sizing environments and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Long-Term Vision: Contribute to the ongoing evolution of the data stack.
- Collaboration: Work closely with data engineering and product leadership, influencing the platform's growth trajectory.
- Technical Focus: Primarily Azure-based, with a strong emphasis on Databricks support in a production environment.
Qualifications
- Azure Expertise: Proven hands-on experience with Azure services, including VMs, networking, security, and cost management.
- Databricks Proficiency: Comfortable supporting Databricks in production.
- Industry Experience: A background in healthcare or other regulated industries is advantageous.
- Authorization: Must be fully authorized to work in the US without sponsorship (H1B not supported).
- Location: Must reside in the Central or Eastern time zone in the United States.
Engagement Details
- Type: Contract-to-hire.
- Duration: 3 months initially, with a high likelihood of conversion to full-time or a long-term contract.
- Location: Fully remote.
- Compensation: C2C rate via candidate's own LLC.
