The Opportunity
We are seeking a Principal Product Manager - Platform to drive strategy and execution at the forefront of our product development. You will own a critical product area within our enterprise-grade platform, tackling ambiguous problems with rigorous thinking and building outcome-based roadmaps. This role is for individuals who are energized by designing for AI, leveraging AI in their workflows, and operating with significant autonomy. We value data-driven decisions, speed, and impact.
What You'll Do
- Own Platform Strategy & Roadmap: Define the vision and strategy for Seeq's customer-facing platform capabilities, ensuring they meet enterprise-scale needs. Set outcome-based priorities and make strategic tradeoffs aligned with business objectives, clearly communicating the rationale behind every decision.
- Champion Enterprise Readiness: Develop and execute roadmap plans that deliver comprehensive enterprise readiness, balancing ease of configuration and maintenance with robust governance and security guardrails. Prioritize capabilities addressing the governance, compliance, and tenant administration needs of large enterprise customers.
- Be the Voice of the Enterprise Buyer: Engage directly with key stakeholders at high-value customer accounts (CIOs, CISOs, IT leaders, tenant administrators) to deeply understand their requirements. Collaborate with field teams to validate platform capabilities and represent Seeq's enterprise product direction.
- Elevate Platform Quality: Partner with design and engineering teams to deliver secure, scalable, and operationally sound platform capabilities. Champion reliability, performance, and an exceptional administrative experience to build and maintain customer trust.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in B2B SaaS product management, with a focus on delivering platform, infrastructure, or data products for enterprise teams and administrators.
- Proven experience with enterprise platform concerns, including multi-tenancy, user and role management, data connectors and integrations, and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure).
- Demonstrated success in building and communicating outcome-based roadmaps, articulating the value and impact of initiatives.
- Proficiency in using data to drive product decisions, including defining metrics, running experiments, analyzing usage data, and iterating based on evidence.
- AI literacy, with practical experience in designing AI-powered product experiences and integrating AI into product management workflows.
- A track record of thriving in ambiguous, fast-evolving environments (startups, scale-ups, or "zero to one" initiatives).
- Strong strategic thinking skills, with the ability to synthesize customer needs, competitive dynamics, and business goals.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of aligning diverse stakeholders including engineers, executives, and customers.
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field is a plus.
- Experience in process manufacturing, industrial software, or data analytics is advantageous but not required; we value strong product thinkers who can quickly learn new domains.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for customer visits, conferences, and team events.
