Responsibilities

Sentinel is seeking a Level I Engineer for our Cloud Select team. The ideal candidate will have a background in systems administration and demonstrates the ability to move into a cloud-focused role.

  • Onboarding new customers.
  • Supporting data center migrations.
  • Maintaining critical cloud infrastructure.
  • Providing excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication while working with cross-functional teams.

Note: This position can be remote within the United States but requires travel to Downers Grove, IL as needed.

Qualifications

  • Provide technical support and system engineering for Windows and Linux platforms (Active Directory, DNS, RDS).
  • Plan, execute, and oversee the migration of data center infrastructure, applications, and services.
  • Experience with Hyper-V/SystemCenter and scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Participation in after-hours work and OnCall rotation is required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Public cloud platform (Azure, AWS) experience is a plus.
  • Must have a car, a valid driver's license, and proof of vehicle insurance for travel between locations and equipment transport.
  • Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
  • Must demonstrate a "can-do" attitude.

Compensation and Benefits

Compensation Range: $70,000-$100,000 annually
