About Your Role

Collections Management

  • Manage assigned client accounts in accordance with contractual payment terms and established credit and collections procedures.
  • Utilize a variety of outreach methods---phone calls, emails, and written correspondence---to recover past due balances.
  • Accurately document all collection activities and communications in the appropriate systems in a timely manner.

Issue Resolution & Research

  • Investigate and resolve issues related to short payments, overpayments, skipped invoices, and unapplied funds.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of all findings and actions taken to support audit readiness and account accuracy.
  • Escalate unresolved or non-compliant accounts to the Credit & Collections Manager as needed.

Reporting & Communication

  • Generate and deliver customer aging reports, month-end summaries, and other required reporting in accordance with established deadlines.
  • Partner with Area Managers and Directors to develop and implement recovery strategies for high-risk or delinquent accounts.

Administrative Support

  • Assist with the weekly matching and distribution of timesheets and invoices, ensuring timely delivery to clients.
  • Participate in special projects and support departmental initiatives as assigned.

Requirements and Skills:

  • High school diploma required; Associate's degree preferred. Advanced courses in bookkeeping, accounting, or business are preferred
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in collections and accounts receivable is preferred.
  • Strong account collection skills
  • Computer literacy, specifically with spreadsheet and accounting
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to reconcile accounts
  • Proficiency with numbers
  • Ability to work on a team
