Senior Manager of E-Commerce Merchandising

Our client is seeking a Senior Ecommerce Merchandise Manager with a hybrid work in office cadence (3 days in office, 2 days WFH) to lead the performance and growth of a digital-first commercial business. This role owns the DTC channel end-to-end, driving revenue, optimizing the customer experience, and translating strategy into execution. This is a Digital Merchandising role with visibility across the business looking at assortment strategy, partnering closely with Marketing, Planning, Design, and Product teams. Must have experience in a fashion, retail, or beauty company. This role is accessible by train (Metro North) or car from NYC.

The salary range for this role is $140,000.

Responsibilities:

  • Own ecommerce performance (revenue, CVR, AOV) and deliver against growth targets
  • Develop and execute trading strategy (promotions, product focus, pacing)
  • Lead ecommerce roadmap (UX, CRO, site enhancements, technology)
  • Drive site optimization through testing, analytics, and customer insights
  • Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Inventory, and Product teams
  • Manage external agencies (development, SEO, CRO)
  • Own ecommerce budget and P&L performance
  • Ensure alignment with brand and licensor guidelines
  • Partner with Design and Planning to create the proper assortment strategy.
  • Manage two direct reports.
  • Serve as the contact with external Development Agency.
  • Understand a high-volume promotional cadence.
  • Understand merchandise assortment.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in ecommerce, merchandising, DTC performance roles with at least 3 years in a management position
  • Strong commercial and analytical mindset
  • Experience managing site performance, CRO, and digital best practices
  • Ability to own P&L and drive measurable growth
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally WITH marketing in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in apparel, retail, or consumer goods needed.
  • High proficiency in Excel
  • Curiosity for data and analysis
