We are looking for an experienced Account Manager / Project Manager with a minimum of 3 years of experience within an advertising or marketing agency. This is a project-based, part-time role to start. Candidates must have direct agency experience (not solely in-house marketing roles) and a proven track record managing client relationships from a strategic standpoint, while also leading project execution. If you have not held a senior account management role within an agency environment, this position may not be the right fit.
The Role
This is a hybrid Account Management and Project Management role, responsible for leading the full lifecycle of client projects—from initial pitch through final delivery. You will be hands-on in both client communication and internal coordination, working closely with a small, agile team.
Key Responsibilities
Client Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients
- Develop scopes of work, budgets, and statements of work (SOWs)
- Manage ongoing client communication and relationships
- Oversee the full lifecycle of client engagements
Project Management
- Lead multiple projects across different workflows simultaneously
- Manage timelines, deliverables, and internal team coordination
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, on scope, and on budget
Production Oversight
- Manage creative and video production processes from pre-production through post-production
- Coordinate with internal teams and external collaborators (e.g., editors, freelancers)
Business Development Support
- Assist in new business initiatives
- Contribute to RFP responses and pitch development
Tools & Process
- Use project management tools to track timelines, budgets, and documentation
- Maintain clear and organized project workflows
Requirements
- 3 years of experience in account and/or project management within an advertising or marketing agency (required)
- Strong understanding of creative and video production workflows
- Excellent client-facing and presentation skills
- Proven project management expertise with the ability to stay organized under pressure
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proficiency with tools such as Asana, Google Workspace, and Slack
Schedule: Monday to Friday, part-time (minimum 20 hours per week), aligned with US Pacific Time.
Compensation: Fixed monthly salary ($1,000 -- $1,500) additional payment for extra hours worked.
