About the Role

We are seeking experienced Software Engineers to join a growing product team responsible for building, maintaining, and scaling critical applications and infrastructure. The team is expanding rapidly to support increasing product demand and is hiring across both backend and frontend functions. This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy solving complex technical challenges, taking ownership of projects, and collaborating closely with product and engineering leadership to deliver impactful solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable product features and internal systems.
  • Build and support backend services, APIs, and third-party integrations.
  • Contribute to frontend architecture, UI enhancements, and component development.
  • Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to deliver roadmap initiatives.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical discussions and architectural decisions.
  • Improve system reliability, scalability, performance, and development workflows.
  • Support deployment processes, monitoring, troubleshooting, and production issue resolution.
  • Maintain high standards for code quality, testing, and documentation.
  • Work effectively within a distributed, remote-first engineering team.
  • Take ownership of technical projects from design through implementation and deployment.

Requirements

  • 5 years of professional software engineering experience.
  • Strong experience with either Ruby on Rails backend development or React frontend development.
  • Experience building, maintaining, and scaling production applications.
  • Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and engineering best practices.
  • Experience working with cloud infrastructure and modern deployment workflows.
  • Familiarity with version control, CI/CD pipelines, and collaborative development environments.
  • Strong English communication skills.
  • Ability to work with overlap during U.S. Central Time business hours.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and capable of working independently in a remote environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Full-stack experience across both backend and frontend technologies.
  • Experience with AWS, Docker, and containerized environments.
  • Experience integrating third-party systems and payment platforms such as Stripe.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools such as Datadog and Sentry.
  • Previous experience working in startup or high-growth technology companies.
  • Experience contributing to technical architecture and long-term product scalability initiatives.

  • Competitive salary: USD $3,500--$4,500/month, based on experience and qualifications.
