Position Summary
As an RN on the Operations team, you will serve as a critical clinical resource supporting patients, clinicians, and clients across multiple telehealth platforms. In this fully remote role, you will deliver high-quality post-visit patient support by triaging clinical inquiries, coordinating pharmacy needs, monitoring clinical queues, and ensuring accurate, compliant documentation within the EMR.
The ideal candidate is an experienced Registered Nurse with a strong telemedicine background who thrives in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment. This individual demonstrates sound clinical judgment, strong communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to navigate multiple systems simultaneously. They are relationship-oriented, adaptable, and passionate about continuous quality improvement—embracing change and contributing meaningfully to the evolution of innovative telehealth care delivery.
This is a 100% remote, 20--24 hours/week position supporting a dynamic and rapidly growing virtual care organization.
Responsibilities
- Deliver post-visit patient support by triaging clinical inquiries, assessing symptoms using evidence-based protocols, and providing pharmacy assistance including medication verification, prescription resends, dosage clarification, and coordination with pharmacies.
- Support clinicians by completing prior authorizations and reporting communicable diseases to appropriate public health authorities in accordance with state and federal regulations.
- Provide patient education on diagnoses, medications, treatment plans, and preventive care to promote understanding, adherence, and positive health outcomes when appropriate.
- Monitor incoming clinical queues (EMR, support tickets, lab results, refill requests) and prioritize based on acuity and turnaround expectations.
- Respond to clinician inquiries submitted through the Support team by addressing clinical and workflow questions, troubleshooting technical issues, and collaborating cross-functionally to resolve care delivery challenges.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation within the EMR in accordance with organizational, state, and federal standards.
- Participate in continuous improvement efforts to enhance patient safety and clinical excellence.

Qualifications
- Active RN license (must have 50 active state licensure)
- 5+ years of RN experience
- 2+ years telemedicine experience
- Experience developing and implementing processes
- Proficiency with common software applications and experience with multiple different EMR systems
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate across the organization
- Must have advanced computer skills including typing speed, email, Internet research, downloading and uploading files, and working in multiple browser windows
