AWS Cloud Solutions Architect - ETX & EVS

Responsibilities

• Provision and configure EVS clusters in designated AWS regions
• Manage vCenter, ESXi host, and vSAN settings within the EVS framework
• Establish network connectivity between EVS and AWS services, including VPC integration
• Oversee VM migration operations using tools like HCX or equivalent technologies
• Align VMware component licensing with corresponding services
• Design and implement AWS Site-to-Site VPNs and associated network architecture
• Ensure effective integration of ETX over VPN tunnels for seamless data communication
• Maintain security and compliance controls for cloud workloads within AWS
• Automate provisioning processes for EVS environments to enhance efficiency

Requirements

Must have:

• Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in cloud solutions architecture
• Proficient in VMware Administration and vSphere Engineering
• Extensive knowledge of AWS EVS and VMware Cloud specialization
• Strong background in migration tools and workload mobility solutions
• Expertise in cloud network architecture including VPN and VPC design
• Familiarity with security protocols and compliance frameworks for VMware and AWS
• Experience in infrastructure automation using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools
• Proven ability to implement and manage cloud-based environments effectively
