About the Role
We are seeking a deeply technical AWS Architect to lead AWS platform configuration and CI/CD automation for a large-scale enterprise migration. You will own the technical pattern for 30 applications, moving between Elastic Beanstalk, EKS, and EC2.
Location & Work Arrangement
- Location: Lansing, MI
- Work Style: Hybrid (2 days onsite per week). No remote-only option.
- Availability: Must be ready to start onsite from Day 1.
Core Technical Stack
- AWS Expert: 5-6 years with EKS, Elastic Beanstalk, EC2, RDS, VPC, and IAM.
- Kubernetes Pro: 3 years hands-on with production EKS, Helm, and ALB/NGINX.
- GitOps (Mandatory): Production-level experience with ArgoCD or Flux.
- DevOps: Azure DevOps (YAML) for multi-stage build/release pipelines.
- IaC: Strong Terraform skills (or CloudFormation).
- Containers: Docker multi-stage builds and image hardening (ECR).
Your Impact
- Design and build GitOps-driven pipelines for diverse migration patterns.
- Harden cloud infrastructure and implement least-privilege security.
- Partner with DBA and App teams to deliver production-ready environments.
- Mentor teams on cloud-native patterns and modern observability (CloudWatch).
Interview Process
- Format: In-person interviews are required (No virtual-only option).
- Timeline: Interviews will be held between 5/25 - 5/29.
