Multi-Cloud Engineer

We are seeking a high-level Multi-Cloud Engineer to serve as a technical authority for a large-scale enterprise environment. In this role, you will architect, secure, and optimize multi-cloud solutions while providing strategic leadership across cross-functional ITS teams.

Position Details

• Work Arrangement: 95% Remote (Must be available for in-office tasks as needed)
• Location: Columbus, OH (On-site equipment pickup required on Day 1)
• Shift: EST
• Interview Process: Virtual/Webcam via Microsoft Teams

Core Technical Skills

To be successful, you must have 5+ years of experience in the following:

• Multi-Cloud Architecture: Hands-on expertise in at least two platforms (AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
• Cloud Security: Implementing Zero Trust, Identity Management (Entra ID/IAM), and encryption standards (NIST/FedRAMP frameworks).
• Networking & Connectivity: Deep knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, Firewalls, Load Balancers, and hybrid solutions (VPN, ExpressRoute, Direct Connect).
• Modern Infrastructure: Experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and Serverless functions.
• FinOps: Ability to monitor cloud utilization and implement cost-optimization practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect & Administer: Manage scalable, highly available cloud environments and managed database services.
• Collaborate: Act as the bridge between App Dev, Cybersecurity, and Networking teams to migrate legacy apps to cloud-native architectures.
• Governance: Maintain cloud disaster recovery plans, system inventories, and architectural standards.
• Mentorship: Provide technical guidance and training to junior staff.

Candidate Requirements

• Must be currently located in the United States (Government equipment cannot leave the country).
• Willingness to complete an FBI Fingerprint background check.
• Ability to report to Columbus, OH on the first day for equipment onboarding.
