Conflicts Analyst (4-Month Maternity Leave Cover)
Our client, a leading National Law Firm, is seeking a skilled Conflicts Analyst for a 4-month period to cover a maternity leave. This role is essential to maintaining the firm's ethical standards and operational continuity during a period of growth.
Role Details:
- Duration: 4 Months (Starting Mid-June)
- Compensation: Annualized salary in the $100k range
- Status: Full-time with benefits
- Location: Fully Remote (Candidates must reside within commuting distance of New York City, Philadelphia, or Washington D.C. for occasional office visits as needed).
Key Responsibilities:
- Comprehensive Due Diligence: Perform in-depth research on prospective clients and corporate affiliates to identify potential legal, ethical, or commercial conflicts of interest.
- Database Stewardship: Oversee the integrity and maintenance of the firm's conflicts database, ensuring all records are accurate, up-to-date, and easily searchable.
- Risk Mitigation & Ethical Walling: Design and implement robust information barriers ("ethical walls") to protect client confidentiality and monitor firm-wide compliance.
- Internal Advisory: Serve as a subject matter expert, providing timely and accurate guidance to attorneys and staff on complex conflicts inquiries and firm policies.
- Attorney Onboarding: Support the integration of new legal hires by providing briefings on the firm's conflicts systems, search protocols, and ethical standards.
- Systems Innovation: Proactively evaluate and recommend enhancements to automate workflows and increase the speed of the conflicts clearance process.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 3 years of dedicated experience in Conflicts Analysis within a law firm environment.
- Software: Proficiency with Intapp software is required.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree.
- Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to hit the ground running in a fast-paced environment.
- Availability: Must be able to commit to the full 4-month duration starting in mid-June.
