About the Role
Stripe is seeking a Data Analyst to join their team. This is a remote position open to candidates in the USA. You will partner with various teams at Stripe to deliver insights, build data products, create metrics and dashboards, and provide actionable business recommendations.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with Stripe teams to ensure data products, insights, and models support decision-making and responsible growth.
- Extract valuable insights from Stripe's complex datasets.
- Translate business requirements into data-driven problems.
- Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines, dashboards, and reports to inform business operations.
- Deliver actionable business recommendations through insightful analysis and data storytelling.
Skills and Qualifications
- Master's degree with 2+ years of experience, or Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of experience (excluding internships) in Business Intelligence Engineering, Data Analysis, or Business Analysis.
- Proficiency in SQL.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects with high attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills for presenting results and driving impact.
- Experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining data pipelines and dashboards to meet stakeholder requirements and generate actionable insights.
- Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver strategic insights, benchmarks, and recommendations.
- Experience in building self-service tooling and providing training to empower stakeholders in data literacy and autonomous reporting.
- Prior experience in a growth-stage internet or software company is preferred.
- Experience with distributed data frameworks like Spark for data pipeline development and debugging.
- Solid understanding of development processes, including engineering standards, code reviews, and testing.
- Strong statistical knowledge.
- Working knowledge of Python.
- Experience creating leadership-level reporting (e.g., QBRs, MBRs).
