About The Role
We are seeking a creative and experienced Copywriter and Content Strategist to join our retention team at Homestead Studio. This is a mid-level position designed for individuals who are passionate about crafting compelling copy and developing strategic content plans. In this role, you will be responsible for creating engaging email and SMS campaigns, automations, and supporting acquisition efforts through persuasive landing pages and ad copy. You will work closely with strategists, project managers, and designers to ensure brand consistency and messaging effectiveness throughout the creative process. The ideal candidate is a collaborative out-of-the-box thinker with a keen eye for detail, eager to learn, and motivated by the success of our clients and team.
Qualifications
- Preference for Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
- Minimum of two years of experience in writing emails and ad copy for B2C or B2B brands
- Strong portfolio showcasing successful acquisition and retention campaigns, including ads, landing pages, emails, and SMS
- Familiarity with A/B testing methodologies and data analysis to optimize campaign performance
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills
- Problem-solving mindset with meticulous attention to detail and flawless execution
- Experience in eCommerce is required
- Proficiency in leveraging AI tools for copy production is a plus
Responsibilities
- Partner with account strategists and clients to develop monthly email marketing strategies for assigned accounts
- Write compelling campaigns, automated emails, and SMS messages tailored to client objectives
- Create persuasive landing page and ad copy to support client acquisition efforts
- Collaborate effectively with account managers, designers, and other team members to ensure cohesive messaging
- Utilize Homestead's AI systems to produce high-converting copy efficiently across various deliverables
- Maintain high standards of quality by reviewing all assets for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and brand compliance
- Stay organized with creative files and project documentation
- Research industry trends and incorporate innovative ideas to enhance campaign performance
- Participate regularly in client onboarding sessions and strategy meetings
- Keep all relevant copywriting and marketing certifications current
