About The Role
We're hiring a Manager II, Marketing to oversee strategic communications and campaign output for the U.S. market. You will act as the strategic architect for our College & Professional Business Unit, focusing on driving renewal revenue and Hudl Pro Suite expansion.
As a Marketing Manager II, you'll be responsible for leading and coaching a team of marketing managers, ensuring high-quality output through strategic mentorship and goal setting. You will maintain strategic oversight to ensure brand consistency and articulate enterprise-grade value across all NCAA and NFL touchpoints, specifically for College & Professional products. Additionally, you will design and oversee the Account-Based Marketing (ABM) engine, providing the framework for engaging high-value accounts and protecting our critical U.S. revenue base.
Your role involves collaborating closely with U.S. Sales VPs and product heads at Lincoln HQ to synthesize data, recommend strategic trade-offs, and align marketing efforts with the company's overarching goals. You will evaluate marketing spend to maximize return on investment, focusing on high-priority accounts and operational efficiencies to enhance U.S. retention efforts. This position requires a strategic thinker with executive presence, analytical skills, and the ability to lead a team toward a unified vision.
The role requires a commitment to a hybrid work model, with three days in the office per week at our headquarters in Lincoln, Nebraska. Candidates must reside within commuting distance to be considered for this position.
Qualifications
- 5--8 years of marketing experience, including 1--2 years in a leadership role
- Strategic thinker with experience leading teams towards a common vision
- Executive presence with comfort interacting with Sales VPs and senior leadership
- Strong analytical skills to interpret market reports and revenue data
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related discipline
- Willingness to travel approximately 10% for national conferences
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of marketing managers to enhance overall performance and strategic output
- Ensure brand consistency and value articulation across all NCAA and NFL touchpoints for College & Professional products
- Design and oversee the Account-Based Marketing (ABM) engine to target high-value accounts effectively
- Collaborate with U.S. Sales VPs and product teams to align marketing strategies with business objectives
- Analyze market data and revenue reports to inform prioritization and strategic decisions
- Evaluate marketing spend to maximize ROI and operational efficiencies
- Develop strategic trade-offs and recommendations to senior leadership
- Support retention efforts through targeted campaigns and account engagement strategies
