Head of Marketing & Content | Sweatcircle, Inc.

🦄 Commission-Based | 1099 Contractor | 6-Month Trial | Remote --- United States

SweatCircle is building a new category --- a hyper-local fitness marketplace where anyone can discover, book, and train with independent coaches anywhere. We are an early-stage, Delaware C-Corp actively raising a seed round, with a target valuation of $1 billion.

The Role

We are seeking a Head of Marketing & Content to build the Sweatcircle brand from the ground up. This is a strategic role, not just a social media or content calendar position. You will define our brand voice, tell our story, and create the marketing engine that drives organic growth. Reporting directly to the founders, you will own all aspects of brand and content as one of the first team members. This is a 6-month trial role starting in 2026, with potential for salary, equity, and long-term compensation based on performance.

What You Will Own

Brand Voice & Identity

  • Define and own the Sweatcircle voice across all channels and content.

Social Media & Content Strategy

  • Build and execute a content calendar across Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube.
  • Create content that educates, inspires, and converts.

The Lab Editorial Hub

  • Own Sweatcircle's editorial content platform.
  • Drive programmatic SEO for organic coach and client acquisition.

Coach & Community Storytelling

  • Share the stories of our coaches, clients, and communities.

Influencer & Creator Partnerships

  • Build relationships with fitness influencers, content creators, and community leaders.

Growth Through Content

  • Drive organic user and coach acquisition through purposeful content.

Year 1 Content & Marketing Targets

  • 3 active social channels with consistent weekly content.
  • 50+ SEO-optimized articles published on The Lab.
  • Email list of 1,000+ coaches and users by Month 6.
  • 12+ coach and community story features published.
  • 5+ influencer or creator partnerships activated.
  • Organic traffic contributing to 20%+ of new user and coach signups.

Compensation: Commission & Performance-Based

Commission Structure

  • $5.00 per activated coach acquired through your channels.
  • $1.00 per new user who signs up and books their first session via your content.
  • 10% of the first month's revenue from influencer/creator partnerships you close.
  • 10% of the first month's revenue from brand partnerships or sponsorships you secure.
  • Revenue share on organic coach and user acquisition.

Estimated Earnings During Trial

  • Early Stage (Month 1-2): $300 - $500 per month
  • Building (Month 2-3): $600 - $900 per month
  • Q1 Target (Month 3): ~$1,000 per month
  • On Track (Month 4-5): $1,200 - $1,500 per month
  • Q2 Target (Month 6): $1,800 - $2,200 per month

Content compounds, driving signups long after publication.

Milestone Gates

Q1 Review (Month 3)

  • Achieve 20 coach signups via content, 2 partnerships, and 3 active social channels.
  • Earn a performance bonus and commission rate increase for Q2.

Q2 Review (Month 6 - End of Trial)

  • Achieve 50 coach signups via content, 5 partnerships, 50+ SEO articles, and measurable organic traffic growth.
  • Initiate formal conversation for base salary, increased revenue share, and founding-team equity.

Post-Trial Opportunities

Upon successful completion of the trial:

  • Base salary supported by platform revenue.
  • Increased revenue share tied to content-driven acquisition.
  • Founding-team equity.
  • Budget for paid media, tools, and content production.

Bonus experience: Startups, fitness, marketplaces, SEO, content-driven growth, personal brand/following, managing content teams.
