Accountant (General Accountant, GL / General Ledger Staff Accountant)
System One is seeking an Accountant for a contract position in Pittsburgh, PA. This role is for 6 to 12 months with the possibility of extension and conversion to a full-time employee, though not guaranteed. The work schedule is hybrid at 77 Hot Metal Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15203.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with stakeholders to understand projects and transactions.
- Analyze transactions and balances for accurate general ledger recording.
- Prepare and review routine and non-routine journal entries.
- Prepare monthly general ledger reconciliations.
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting close processes.
- Support the preparation of key internal reports.
- Prepare documentation for financial audits and reviews.
- Assist in maintaining Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.
