Staff Accountant ( General Accountant )

Job Summary

This is a contract position for a Staff Accountant (General Accountant) with a duration of 6 to 12 months, with the possibility of extension and a potential for contract-to-hire.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with stakeholders to understand projects and transactions.
• Analyze transactions and balances for accurate general ledger recording.
• Prepare and review routine recurring and non-recurring journal entries.
• Prepare monthly general ledger reconciliations.
• Assist in the monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting close process.
• Support the preparation of key internal reports.
• Prepare documentation for financial audits and reviews.
• Assist in maintaining Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.

Location

77 Hot Metal Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15203 - Hybrid work schedule (not fully remote).
