AI Solutions Architect, Healthcare & Life Sciences

I'm looking for a Healthcare / Life Science / Pharma expert. Someone who has spent many years in the HCLS industry at an enterprise level, working inside big pharma, large payers, major provider systems or top medtech.

You'd join the HCLS practice of a global tech consultancy as an AI Solutions Architect. The role is part strategic advisor, part hands-on builder. You'd be working with their HCLS clients to scope AI use cases, prototype real PoCs, and drive them through to production at scale.

On the strategy side

This isn't a pure delivery role. You need to be able to sit across the table from a CTO, Chief Data Officer, Chief AI Officer or Head of Engineering and shape their AI strategy, not just translate their vision into a technical build. Strategic AI advisory to senior technical leadership is non-negotiable.

You'll also need to know the HCLS regulatory landscape inside out: HIPAA, CMS-0057-F, GDPR, ISO 13485, ISO 42001, FHIR, HL7, and the wider compliance picture across pharma, payer, provider and medtech.

On the tech side

You'd be hands-on with GenAI across hyperscaler tooling (Azure, AWS, GCP), LLM APIs, vector search, RAG pipelines and Agentic SDKs. You'd be building working solutions on top of Snowflake and Databricks.

You'll also need

• Deep enterprise HCLS experience (boutique healthcare AI startups won't meet the bar)
• Evidence of building vertical HCLS AI IP or accelerators, not horizontal GenAI repurposed for healthcare
• Consultancy background, so you know how this world works
• Track record of leading client-facing PoCs from idea to production
