Global newswire and media organization. Their content reaches more than half the global population daily. The tech org is modern and invests heavily in ML/AI infrastructure to support large-scale media processing across text, image, and video. They are seeking an experienced professional to join their team on a full-time basis.
Location
100% Remote. (United States based candidates)
Compensation
Base salary up to $130,000.00 + 10% on-target bonus
Required Skills and Experiences
- Professional work experience working for a Media, News, or heavy content-driven organization.
- Hands-on experience processing, optimizing, and building pipelines for large-scale media assets, including text, image, and video content.
- Deep familiarity with advanced text retrieval and discovery techniques, including entity resolution, contextual similarity, and embedding-driven semantic search.
- Practical understanding of multi-modal retrieval pipelines, user intent classification, and blended search optimization strategies.
- Familiarity with graph data models and designing entity-relationship schemas.
