About the Role

Our client is a start-up, 50-person gaming studio that builds in-game branded content and experiences in some of the world's most popular video games. The company partners with brands like Disney, Barbie, etc. and builds their marketing presence within games such as Fortnite and Minecraft. They are seeking their first Head of Ops, to be the most seasoned leader in the organization, to help improve their operations and implement scalable processes.

Location

Remote/Hybrid - 100% Remote - ET hours preferred.

  • Must be based in US and eligible to work for any US employer. No C2C or sponsorship can be provided at this time.

Required Technology And Skills

  • 5+ years professional experience in operations or PMO type role, within software / SaaS / gaming or studio environment
  • Demonstrated experience in a start-up, navigating ambiguity, and implementing scalable processes
  • Experience managing and overseeing production schedules, ensuring deadlines are being met
  • Experience owning budgets, contracts, and business operations
  • Experience hiring and onboarding team members
  • Experience working cross-functionally with engineering, product, QA, creative, etc.

Additional Skills

  • Experience or passion / knowledge of video-game ecosystem, game development, etc.

Salary Range

Target base salary range of $125,000 - $175,000 + bonus
