A respected Dallas-based boutique family law firm is seeking a Family Law Litigation Attorney to join its trial-focused practice. The firm is built around a courtroom-first model, where attorneys focus on advocacy while internal teams manage much of the administrative and drafting workload.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Represent clients in contested hearings, temporary orders hearings, and family law trials
  • Lead mediations and settlement negotiations in high-conflict matters
  • Conduct depositions and prepare clients and witnesses for testimony
  • Develop litigation strategies and take matters through trial when needed
  • Review and refine motions, pleadings, and responses prepared by support teams
  • Serve as lead courtroom advocate in hearings and trial proceedings
  • Work closely with paralegals on trial preparation and case organization
  • Guide clients through sensitive legal processes with professionalism and care

What You Will Need

  • Active Texas Bar license or reciprocity in progress
  • 3+ years of family law litigation experience, OR 5+ years civil litigation with interest in family law
  • Strong courtroom experience (hearings, motions, mediations, or trials)
  • Experience conducting depositions and preparing witnesses
  • Strong advocacy, negotiation, and litigation strategy skills
  • Ability to handle emotionally sensitive matters with professionalism
  • Strong communication skills and courtroom confidence
