  • Hybrid work requirements: Required travel to office/job sites ~1x/week

Join our team and play a crucial role in our Corporate Real Estate line of business. We are seeking an experienced professional to manage IT projects, ensuring the successful delivery of infrastructure resources required to scale operations and enable growth. The ideal candidate will start on 7/1/2026, with a contract duration of 12 months and a likelihood of extension.

Location

Our office is located at 320 S Canal St in the vibrant city of Chicago. This hybrid role requires travel to the office or job sites approximately once a week, offering a dynamic work environment in one of the most exciting cities in the world.

Role Mandate

Responsible for using best practice PMO methodology to create a project plan to fit the stakeholders/sponsor's needs and deliver on desired outcomes. This role supports the bank's Channels expansion program by providing the infrastructure resources required to scale operations and enable growth. The Infrastructure Services team is responsible for delivering and managing core technology across the Commercial Real Estate (CRE) portfolio, including network environments, LAN rooms, end-user computing, and overall technology lifecycle management.

Team Structure

Work collaboratively within a team of 7-10 direct peers, part of a broader team of 15. While collaboration with other IT teams is crucial, there is also a significant independent component to this role.

Role Responsibilities

  • Develop integrated baseline project plans and manage performance against them.
  • Assemble project team, assign individual responsibilities, and enforce accountability.
  • Develop and maintain a budget and schedule to ensure timely project completion.
  • Recommend best solutions based on understanding of business issues.
  • Capture and track program metrics and perform analysis.
  • Manage project scope, assess requirements changes, and convey impact on budget, time, and risk.
  • Manage client expectations and track operational and tactical risks.
  • Perform regular visits to construction sites and manage onsite deliverables.
  • Travel to project sites 25-50% of the time, including some overnight travel.

Must Have Skills

  • 5 years of Project Management experience.
  • Experience with real estate builds, renovations, and remodels supporting IT.
  • Advanced verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications, MS Project, and/or Visio.
  • Highly organized with good time management skills.
  • Customer service orientation and strong interpersonal skills.

Nice to Have Skills

  • Relevant postsecondary education.
  • Financial Industry/BMO experience.
  • PMP certification.
