The Consumer Order Management Specialist is primarily responsible for managing order fulfillment tasks related to consumer wireline within Order Processing & Coordination. This position will be responsible for processing service orders in one or more of TDS' fulfillment systems including but not limited to MetaSolv, Siebel, INAT, RNW, SABRE, DESI, and multiple porting systems. These duties can include verification of order accuracy, coordination of order updates and telephone number porting requests, and managing online customer product and service requests. In addition, this position will support minimal outbound calling needs as process dictates. This team will place orders and care for all follow-up tasks required in the order process. This position is also responsible for working with TSS, Consumer Sales, Financial services, Work Force Management, and other back-office provisioning teams to ensure that customer orders and requests are processed timely and accurately.

Shift

This position will work 4x10 hour shifts; 8am - 6pm CT with Saturday's on, Sunday's off and 2 other days off between Monday - Friday.

This position has the ability to work remotely in any of the 40+ States in which TDS Telecom operates.

Responsibilities

  • Process Orders submitted for by the Consumer Wireline teams including ILEC Residential Porting In. Manage order corrections and updates requests via multiple workqueues throughout order life cycle. Applications utilized include but are not limited to Siebel, Aspect, Right Now Web, SABRE, INAT, MetaSolv, Excel, CST, RMS, DESI.
  • Make outgoing calls as necessary for order coordination or to communicate proactively with customers.
  • Keep up to date on all systems, procedures, products and services involved in consumer wireline order process.
  • Participate on special projects as assigned by MSCO CCO Leadership.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Associates degree (or higher) -OR- 2+ years professional work experience -OR- current military service or prior military service with honorable discharge.
  • Must follow the TDS attendance guidelines in order to meet TDS's business needs including but not limited to our obligations to our customers and to our customers' needs.
  • 3+ years customer service.
  • 3+ years data entry experience.

  • Working with Consumer products & services.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills (i.e., verbal, written, listening).
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to establish and maintain excellent working relationships with peers within MSCO and TSD.
  • Time management skills.
  • Ability to adapt to rapid changes.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills (i.e. customer complaints, order issues).
  • Manages multiple tasks & prioritizes well.
  • Working knowledge of Contact Center Applications.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite of products.
  • Ability to type 45 words per minute.
  • Experience in working in Team Environment.

Pay Transparency

$19.43/Hr. - $29.15/Hr. Actual offers will be based on factors such as skills, qualifications, experience, location, and role-specific competencies.
