Location: Spring, TX (Local Candidates Only -- 3 days Hybrid/Onsite)

Duration: Long-Term Contract (Minimum 1 Year)

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Network Engineer with strong expertise in Juniper Data Center technologies, EVPN-VXLAN architecture, and Infoblox DDI solutions. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience supporting enterprise data center environments and be comfortable working in a fast-paced operational support model.

Candidates must be local to Spring, TX or within a reasonable commuting distance. This role requires a minimum of 3 days onsite per week.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience in DNS, DHCP, IPAM (DDI), and NTP administration using Infoblox
• Hands-on experience with Juniper and Arista data center switches
• Strong expertise in Data Center Networking environments
• Experience with Leaf-Spine architecture
• Strong troubleshooting and support experience for hardware/software/configuration/design issues
• Hands-on experience with Juniper QFX 5120/5130 switches
• Good understanding of EVPN-VXLAN architecture
• Experience with EVPN Type-2 and Type-5 route coexistence implementation
• Strong BGP routing protocol knowledge
• Solid understanding of underlay and overlay networking architecture
• Experience supporting overlay services
• Experience with core switch upgrades and migration activities
• Port-channel configuration and troubleshooting experience
• Experience with IP Fabric and BFD
• Strong documentation and process management skills
• IPv6 knowledge is a plus

Education & Certifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or equivalent experience
• 5 years of progressive experience in network deployment, implementation, and support
• Juniper certifications preferred (JNCIA-DC / JNCIP-DC)

Additional Requirements

• Must be flexible to work in 24x7 rotational shifts
• Should be willing to support APJ and EMEA overlap hours when required
• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills required
• Candidates must be willing to shift work hours to support partner peer in APJ or EMEA.
• Some overlap coverage for passdown.
