Senior Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead high-priority projects requiring considerable resources and high levels of functional integration.
• Assemble project teams, assigning responsibilities and identifying resources needed.
• Develop project schedules to ensure timely completion.
• Oversee requirements for stakeholders, user groups and vendors.
• Maintain all project documentation.
• Document and communicate process flows, reducing risk and ensuring project success.
• Develop cost/benefit analyses, benchmarking analyses, and risk management plans using Project Management Methodology (PMM) to mitigate risks.
• Actively manage project risks through all phases of the project.
• Organize and lead user group meetings.
• Provide functional expertise in regard to the product, application or service.
• Create project budgets and track project expenses to ensure project stays within budget.
• Translate customer business system design into scope, work breakdown structures and scheduling using Project Management Methodology (PMM).
• Lead and manage effective day-to-day communication across delivery teams and develop and submit project status reports to customers, vendor partners, and Leadership.
• Recommend changes in scope / direction during all phases of the project.
• Provide support throughout implementation activities.
• Recommend suggestions for implementing project delivery process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 8-10+ years of Project Management Experience
• PMP Certification Required
• Healthcare Industry Experience
• Project Management Software Experience, including Jira and Plaview.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven experience using Project Management Methodology (PMM)
• Proven relationship management, workgroup management, and meeting facilitation skills.
