Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and test scalable, secure, and maintainable software solutions across ServiceNow, custom applications, Power Platform, GIS, and AI/ML systems.
- Develop and support ServiceNow applications including ITSM, CSM, SecOps, or HRSD modules, custom scoped apps, integrations, and automation workflows.
- Build full-stack web applications using modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Vite), C#, Python (FastAPI), and RESTful APIs.
- Support C#/.NET-based solutions including workflow-driven systems.
- Create Power Platform solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, and connectors to integrate M365 or external systems.
- Contribute to geospatial applications using GIS SDKs, APIs, or libraries.
- Design and implement AI/ML solutions including LLM agents, vector search, prompt orchestration, and RAG pipelines.
- Participate in project meetings including daily standups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Conduct code reviews, mentor peers, and follow secure development practices.
- Maintain and extend CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
- Produce and maintain technical documentation, user guides, and design artifacts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define user requirements and translate them into actionable solutions.
- Debug and resolve software issues across diverse environments and platforms.
- Coordinate with vendor or platform support teams to resolve complex technical challenges.
- Ensure compliance with security, performance, and regulatory standards across all developed solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Mid-level proficiency with Windows and Linux command-line interfaces.
- Proficient in programming languages including Java, JavaScript, Python, C#, C++, HTML, and CSS.
- Experience with front-end development using Vite, React, and Tailwind CSS for responsive UI/UX design.
- Proficient in backend development using Node.js, FastAPI, and/or .NET for building RESTful APIs and high-performance services.
- Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Jest, Mocha, Cypress, PyTest, and other modern testing practices.
- Proficient in Git for version control, including collaborative workflows, branching, and merging.
- Experience working with both relational and NoSQL databases, such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or spatial databases for GIS.
- Knowledge of secure authentication and authorization mechanisms using OAuth2, JWT, or SSO frameworks.
- Familiarity with Docker and experience implementing CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
- Mid-level understanding of cloud environments including AWS and/or Microsoft Azure, including deployment, monitoring, and resource management.
- Solid understanding of secure coding practices and modern development methodologies, including Agile, Scrum, and DevSecOps.
- Experience developing full-stack or platform-specific solutions, integrating RESTful APIs, and supporting distributed systems.
- Exposure to low-code/no-code platforms such as Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate) is a plus.
- Experience with ServiceNow development, scoped apps, or ITSM modules is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with AI/ML concepts, LLMs, or GIS frameworks is a strong plus for specialized roles.
- Strong grasp of development best practices, including version control, peer code reviews, and automated deployments.
- Excellent communication skills, with a focus on problem-solving, collaboration, and clear technical documentation.
- Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize, triage, resolve, and escalate issues efficiently.

- Location: Candidates must reside in one of our approved hiring states within the United States.
- Type of environment: Remote
- Work schedule: Day shift Monday - Friday 8:30am - 4:30pm EST. May be requested to work evenings and weekends to meet program and contract needs.
- Amount of Travel: Less than 25%
