Product Analyst - CIAM

Note: There is no possibility to convert to FTE employee. This is a fully remote position. Preferred hours are 9-5 PM CST with flexibility. Travel is not required. Candidates should be prepared for 3 interviews.

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Product Analyst to support our team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in gathering requirements, analyzing business processes, and ensuring a seamless integration of the CIAM solution across all relevant channels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with stakeholders to elicit, document, and validate business and technical requirements for the CIAM platform.
  • Analyze existing authentication and authorization workflows and identify opportunities for improvement using the CIAM solution.
  • Assist in mapping user journeys and defining use cases for login, registration, password management, and multi-factor authentication across all channels.
  • Collaborate with project managers, developers, and QA teams to ensure requirements are accurately implemented and tested.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, risks, and issues, ensuring timely resolution and escalation when necessary.
  • Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and provide training and documentation to business users and support teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Business Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 2 years of experience as a business or product analyst, preferably with identity management or digital authentication projects.
  • Strong understanding of CIAM concepts, security protocols (OAuth, SAML, OpenID Connect), and digital channel integration.
  • Understanding of Identity Provider (IdP) platforms, Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) policy design, and adaptive/risk-based authentication strategies.
  • Foundational working knowledge of Splunk and SQL for querying, analyzing, and reporting.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working in agile project environments is a plus.

Job Type & Location

This is a contract position based out of Chicago, IL. This is a fully remote position.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $75.00/hr.
