Overview

We're seeking an experienced Epic Application Analyst to support and enhance critical healthcare systems. This role focuses on building, optimizing, and maintaining Epic applications while improving clinical workflows and system performance. This is a great opportunity to work on complex, high-impact systems within a large healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and troubleshoot complex system issues; provide Tier 2/3 support
  • Design, build, and optimize workflows to support clinical and operational needs
  • Configure Epic applications including:
    • Orders & Order Sets
    • Therapy Plans
    • Flowsheets
    • Procdoc Documentation
  • Gather and translate technical requirements into system solutions
  • Collaborate with end users, IT teams, and vendors
  • Support system upgrades, enhancements, and ongoing maintenance
  • Document system designs, workflows, and technical specifications
  • Assist in reporting needs and partner with reporting teams
  • Lead or contribute to projects and mentor junior team members when needed
  • Participate in on-call support as required

Required Qualifications

  • 4+ years of Epic Application Analyst experience
  • Strong hands-on build experience in: orders, order sets, therapy plans, flowsheets, and procdoc
  • Proven experience designing and optimizing workflows
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues
  • Experience gathering requirements and translating into technical solutions
  • Strong collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Epic Certification (ClinDoc/Orders, Ambulatory, or Beacon)
  • Experience in a lead role (scoping/triaging projects)
  • Experience working with vendors and system integrations

Work Environment

  • Fully remote (U.S.-based)
  • Must be comfortable working Mountain Time hours
  • Highly collaborative team environment
  • Involvement in system upgrades, enhancements, and production support

Pay and Benefits

  • Pay Range: $50.00 - $60.00/hr
  • Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k)/Roth, disability, HSA, and PTO. Eligibility requirements apply.
