Firewall Engineer (W2 Only)

Requirements

Must have:

• Expertise in firewall technologies
• Specialized knowledge in Checkpoint, Palo Alto, or Juniper SRX
• Experience with VPN migrations between concentrators
• Competence in unifying Checkpoint policies
• Familiarity with network standardization practices
• Skill in firewall consolidation strategies
• Proficiency in network segmentation techniques
• Knowledge of network access control methodologies
• Expertise in documentation, particularly using Visio or similar platforms
• Ability to draft cybersecurity policies and documentation for audits

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate on dual demarcation point project at a campus
• Assist in migrating VPN services from one concentrator to another
• Unify and standardize firewall policies across the network
• Implement effective firewall consolidation measures
• Execute network segmentation for enhanced security
• Manage network access control systems
• Document network specifics with clarity and precision
• Develop cybersecurity policies in response to audit requirements
