Description

This is a hands-on, senior-level visionary role responsible for designing and driving the implementation of end-to-end IT solutions that align with global business strategies. This individual will lead technical architecture across business units, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure that solutions are scalable, secure, and sustainable. The role requires deep knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks, cloud platforms, data integration, security, and a strong ability to align technical decisions with business outcomes.

You will interact and collaborate closely with application integration, application workstreams, information security, and other technical infrastructure teams, providing deep and broad hybrid-cloud infrastructure technical expertise to guide project IT solution development, planning, prioritization, troubleshooting, and resolution of complex technical infrastructure-related business challenges. This role will also help identify, define, and propose future strategies, establish and document standards, processes, operational procedures, and automation that foster continuous advancement of the overall hybrid-cloud infrastructure global landscape.

As a senior global infrastructure solution architect, you will play a pivotal role in defining, designing, and driving the strategic direction of global IT infrastructure. You will be responsible for creating scalable, secure, and cost-effective solutions that support the company's digital transformation goals and enable business agility. You will lead large-scale infrastructure projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and act as the primary point of contact for all technical aspects of infrastructure design and implementation.

  • Lead the design and oversee implementation of complex, global infrastructure solutions across on-premises, multi-cloud, and hybrid infrastructure environments (data centers, cloud platforms, networks, compute, storage, container, edge) aligned with enterprise architecture standards, business goals, and compliance requirements.
  • Develop comprehensive architecture blueprints, ensuring alignment with business goals, security policies, and performance requirements.
  • Translate business and technical requirements into robust architecture blueprints and implementation roadmaps.
  • Ensure architectural integrity and consistency across systems, platforms, and geographies.
  • Define and optimize infrastructure architecture to maximize scalability, performance, and cost-efficiency.
  • Support large-scale transformation projects such as merger & acquisition integration, cloud migration, network modernization, and data center consolidation.

Global Standards, Governance, Security, and Compliance

  • Define and maintain global architecture frameworks, reference architectures, and design patterns.
  • Ensure compliance with enterprise policies, privacy, regulatory standards, and security requirements.
  • Support global IT initiatives by ensuring architectural consistency and reuse of existing solutions.
  • Develop and enforce architecture principles, standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Design infrastructure solutions with a focus on security, ensuring compliance with internal and external regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, SOC2, SOX, PCI, HIPAA as applicable).
  • Collaborate with Security, Compliance, and Privacy teams to implement best practices in security controls, identity and access management, encryption, data protection, disaster recovery, and business continuity.

Technical Architecture Leadership and Project Delivery

  • Act as a technical leader, providing expertise on complex technical issues and guiding the architecture team through design, implementation, and troubleshooting.
  • Mentor junior architects and engineers, providing thought leadership, technical guidance, and promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Develop end-to-end solutions for infrastructure technology across data centers, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform), and hybrid environments.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in multiple domains (e.g., cloud, infrastructure, data, integration, security).
  • Collaborate with enterprise architects, application architects, network architects, and security teams to ensure cohesive design across domains.
  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and platforms that support business innovation.
  • Lead architectural reviews and technical governance forums.
