ISP Customer Service Representative

Work model
Answer inbound calls, chats, and emails in a professional manner that adheres to company and departmental policies. Assist customers in diagnosing and resolving voice, data, video, and connectivity issues, and answer questions to ensure an optimal customer experience.
Primary Responsibilities
- Assist callers with billing questions, bill payment, service sign-ups, and the promotion and upsell of service offerings.
- Communicate via phone, chat, email, and other means in an efficient, friendly, courteous, and helpful manner.
- Access information from multiple sources using various computer applications.
- Analyze and resolve issues according to specific client requirements.
- Work in a fast-paced call center setting.
- Accurately document details of support with proper information.
- Follow standard policy and procedure for performing specific services.
- Provide clear and effective communication, building a positive rapport with different types of customers.
- Create relationships by partnering and collaborating with peers, supervisors, and higher-level service center personnel to answer complex customer questions.
- Follow up and educate customers on all inquiries that were not immediately resolved.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism in all correspondence and customer interactions.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills & Qualifications
- Top Skills: Windows 10, Windows 7, call center support, and troubleshooting.
- Must have excellent phone etiquette skills.
- Must possess fast computer skills to maneuver through many systems simultaneously.
- Must be able to digitally multitask with multiple screens, tools, and tabs.
- Tech-savvy: Ability to talk, type, and listen simultaneously.
- Experience level: Entry Level.
Additional Details
- Schedule: Candidates must be open to working at least one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday).
- Training: Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM Eastern (4 weeks of training).
- Location: Fully remote (Contract to Hire position based out of Cedar Rapids, IA).
- Pay: $15.50/HR.
