Microsoft Systems Engineer

Description

We're partnering with a team focused on security and collaboration platforms to bring on an experienced Microsoft 365 expert - and this is much more than a typical admin or developer role.

What you'll be doing

You'll sit at the intersection of strategy, platform governance, and implementation, helping the organization stay ahead of Microsoft's evolving ecosystem.

• Assess and analyze the current M365 environment
• Track Microsoft roadmap updates and evaluate impact
• Partner with architects and platform teams to enable new features (Teams, Entra ID, Intune, etc.)
• Provide recommendations on rollout, usage, and platform standards
• Help drive adoption, alignment, and consistency across tools

What we're looking for

• Strong experience across Microsoft 365 (Teams, Entra ID, Intune, Exchange, etc.)
• Background in enterprise environments with cross-functional collaboration
• Ability to translate new features into actionable rollout plans
• Comfortable working with architects, security teams, and platform owners
• Familiarity with M365 roadmap / Message Center is a big plus
• Relevant Microsoft certifications are highly preferred

This is a contract position based out of Grand Rapids, MI. This is a fully remote position.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $62.00/hr.
