Description

The Engineer II - Identity & Access Management (IAM) Engineering role is responsible for supporting, developing, and enhancing enterprise IAM solutions including identity provisioning, governance, authentication, privileged access, and certificate services. This role performs day-to-day engineering and operational activities with guidance from IAM leadership and senior engineers, while contributing to secure, scalable, and compliant identity services across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments.

Job Responsibilities

IAM Engineering & Operations

  • Support and develop IAM solutions for identity provisioning, access certifications, authentication management, and privileged access management.
  • Perform ticket queue, incident, and request management while ensuring SLA adherence.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and provide after-hours support as required.
  • Provide audit artifacts, evidence, and remediation support for IAM-related controls.

Identity Platform Engineering & Integration

  • Support integrations with Active Directory, SailPoint IIQ, SailPoint ISC, Okta, CyberArk, LDAP, and databases.
  • Assist with onboarding applications into IAM platforms.
  • Support SaaS migration initiatives and authentication integrations.
  • Perform system health checks, apply fixes, and add monitoring as needed.

Identity Governance & Lifecycle Management

  • Support Joiner/Mover/Leaver provisioning processes.
  • Assist with RBAC modeling, workflows, and access certifications.
  • Support reporting requests and compliance-sensitive applications.

Privileged Access, Authentication & PKI

  • Support Privileged Access Management using CyberArk/Idira.
  • Support SSO and MFA using Okta.
  • Assist with PKI and certificate lifecycle management.

Engineering Practices & Collaboration

  • Participate in agile ceremonies and design discussions.
  • Contribute to code reviews and solution development.
  • Collaborate with business units to maintain strong customer service.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Knowledge & Skills

  • Strong understanding of IAM provisioning, governance, and authentication.
  • Experience with SailPoint IIQ/ISC, Active Directory, CyberArk/Idira, and Okta.
  • Knowledge of ITSM processes, networking, and security controls.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.

Experience & Education

  • 2-4 years of experience in an IAM or related role.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
