Resource Utilization Engineer

The Resource Utilization Engineer will study and approve the interconnection of new generators to the grid. This role requires strong experience modeling and performing analysis in PSS/E, TARA, DSA tools, and other power flow tools as necessary. The engineer will assist our client in reviewing their material modification reports to better understand incoming point of interconnection changes and their impacts on the grid.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in Power Systems Engineering or a related role.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience in the Utility/Energy industry.
  • Proficiency with Power Flow tools such as PSS/E, TARA, and/or DSA.
  • Familiarity with NERC Compliance.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience reviewing Material Modification Reports.

Pay and Benefits:

  • Pay Range: $40.00 - $60.00/hr.
