Job Summary

This remote Senior Systems Analyst position, limited to residents of MD, PA, Washington DC, WV, VA, TN, TX, NC, SC, GA, FL, serves as a strategic liaison between information systems and the organization. The role focuses on customer support, application analysis, modification, programming, building, and testing, requiring leadership skills and a deep understanding of organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Determine and implement testing requirements for software modifications.
  • Evaluate existing systems against strategic plans and recommend improvements.
  • Provide user support for centralized systems and ensure seamless information flow between applications.
  • Communicate effectively with end-users to understand and address their needs.
  • Act as the primary support person for assigned modules, troubleshooting issues and coordinating projects.
  • Ensure compliance with hospital, Compliance, HIPAA, and Joint Commission guidelines.
  • Collaborate with other analysts to maintain a consistent information system model.
  • Monitor system performance, user acceptance, and compliance with objectives, maintaining documentation.
  • Serve as a technical resource for IS staff and vendors, providing training and support.
  • Manage application implementations and coordinate activities with operational teams.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or 9+ years of equivalent education/experience.
  • Expert knowledge of application systems and analyst tools.
  • Project management experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • 3-5 years of experience in information systems with client-server application experience.
  • Healthcare environment experience preferred (Meditech experience a plus).
  • Professional certifications (e.g., MCSE, MCSD) desired.

Pay and Benefits

  • Salary Range: $91,000.00 - $120,000.00/year
