Job Summary

The Sr. Integration Engineer is responsible for the analysis, design, build, testing, and support of the HL-7 integration engine, including real-time and batch job technologies between clinical and revenue cycle applications. The Sr. Interface Coordinator must maintain in-depth knowledge of interface software functionality and work effectively with application coordinators, vendors, partners, and other stakeholders in an interdisciplinary fashion.

Responsibilities:

  • Leads team meetings, vendor, and stakeholder conference calls to determine requirements.
  • Communicates all interface systems issues to teammates and IT Leadership.
  • Documents all HL-7 Interface change requests, including but not limited to incident tickets, projects, upgrades, and optimizations.
  • Reviews, analyzes, builds, and documents all HL-7 interface requests based on specifications and requirements.
  • Maintains and reconciles interface error logs in both EPIC and Corepoint.
  • Participates in systems integrated testing between EPIC and downstream systems.
  • Grows skillset for interface technology forecasting, upgrades, and enhancements with best practice recommendations.
  • Maintains EPIC and Corepoint downstream ancillary applications support daily.

Requirements:

  • EPIC Bridges and Corepoint Certifications required.
  • Approximately 400 interface connections on Corepoint; 150 on Bridges.
  • Experience with HL7, File-based, and APIs.
  • Proactive monitoring of the Interface engine, in addition to automatic alerts.
  • 70% project work, 30% break/fix.

  • This is a Permanent position based out of Atlanta, GA.
  • This is a fully remote position. Candidates must reside in Georgia, Texas, Tennessee, North Carolina, Florida, South Carolina, Michigan, or Colorado.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $110,000.00 - $125,000.00/yr.
