Job Summary
Seeking a Systems Administrator with SQL DBA experience for a 100% remote position, with quarterly visits to Ft. Wayne. This junior-level role requires approximately 3 years of experience and supports the DevOps Architect.
Must-Haves:
- Windows Server administration (primarily Windows, some Redhat Linux)
- Microsoft 365 (Exchange, Teams)
- Storage SANs
- Active Directory (AD) and Group Policy
- VMware experience
- Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery (BC/DR) solutions (Veeam, QNAP), including backup and replication
- SQL Server
SQL DBA Functions:
- Database optimization and tuning
- Query optimization
- Indexing
- Clustering
- High Availability/Disaster Recovery (HA/DR)
- Automation
- Configuration Management
- Experience with tools like Terraform, Ansible
- Scripting languages (Python, JS, PowerShell, etc.)
Additional Responsibilities:
- Handle tasks related to the core skill areas.
- Assist with daily administrative tasks due to current team overload.
Nice-to-Haves:
- PowerShell scripting and automation
- Experience with storing code and Azure DevOps
- Ansible
- Microsoft SQL Server
- SQL DBA specific experience
- Redhat Linux administration
Job Type & Location:
- This is a Permanent position.
- The role is based out of Indianapolis, IN, with a hybrid work model.
- 100% remote with quarterly visits to Ft. Wayne.
Pay and Benefits:
- Pay Range: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year.
- Benefits include Healthcare, Dental, 401k matching, and Paid Time Off (PTO).
