Job Summary

TEKsystems is seeking customer service agents for a hybrid role in Des Moines, IA, involving 4 days onsite and 1 day remote.

Responsibilities

  • Handle an average of 45-55 inbound calls daily, addressing inquiries from clients and financial professionals, ranging from simple requests to complex market-sensitive issues.
  • Receive comprehensive training in customer service, products, and systems to stay updated on operational policies, new products, and procedures.
  • Process requests from agents, policy owners, and third parties via phone.
  • Educate customers on Athene products and answer questions related to product changes, tax implications, state regulations, claims, and more.
  • Provide information on individual policies, including beneficiary details, value explanations, and terms and conditions.
  • Document appropriate responses to customer inquiries, which may vary in complexity.
  • Process various transactions such as address changes, beneficiary updates, partial withdrawals, replacements, and ownership changes.
  • Communicate with customers through multiple channels and proactively seek solutions.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience required.
  • Proven ability to manage high call volumes and adhere to attendance and punctuality standards.
  • Must be able to multitask and navigate multiple administrative systems.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, with demonstrated success in explaining concepts to diverse customers.
  • Ability to learn and retain significant amounts of detailed information quickly.
  • Prior experience with annuities is preferred but not mandatory.

Job Type & Location

  • This is a Permanent position.
  • Based in Des Moines, IA.
  • Hybrid work environment (4 days onsite, 1 day remote).

Pay and Benefits

  • Salary Range: $43,000.00 - $43,000.00 per year.
  • Benefits include: 401(k) with matching, Dental insurance, Health insurance, Paid time off, Tuition reimbursement, Vision insurance.
  • This position is eligible for quarterly and annual incentives.
