Job Summary

TEKsystems is seeking customer service agents for an onsite hybrid role (4 days onsite, 1 day work from home) in Des Moines, IA.

Responsibilities

  • Answer an average of 45-55 inbound calls per day, handling inquiries from clients and financial professionals, ranging from simple requests to complex market-sensitive issues.
  • Receive extensive training in customer service, products, and systems to stay current with operational policies, new products, and procedures.
  • Process requests from agents, policy owners, and third parties via incoming calls.
  • Provide information on individual policies, including beneficiary details, values, terms, and conditions.
  • Document appropriate responses to customer inquiries, which may be simple to moderately complex.
  • Process various transactions such as address changes, beneficiary changes, partial withdrawals, replacements, and ownership changes.
  • Communicate with customers through multiple channels and proactively seek solutions.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience required.
  • Ability to manage high call volumes and adhere to attendance and punctuality standards.
  • Proficiency in multitasking and navigating multiple administrative systems.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to explain concepts to a diverse customer base.
  • Capacity to learn and retain a significant amount of detailed information quickly.
  • Prior experience with annuities is preferred but not required.

Pay and Benefits

  • Pay Range: $43,000.00 - $43,000.00 per year.
  • Benefits include: 401(k) with matching, dental insurance, health insurance, paid time off, tuition reimbursement, and vision insurance.
  • This position is eligible for quarterly and annual incentives.
