Project Manager -- Electrical Construction

Locations: Romeoville, IL or Nashville, TN

Lead High-Impact Electrical Construction Projects

Our client is a rapidly growing electrical contractor supporting some of the nation's largest commercial, industrial, and mission-critical construction projects. With a strong backlog of work across data centers, manufacturing facilities, distribution centers, infrastructure projects, and commercial developments, they are seeking Project Managers at multiple experience levels to support continued growth.

What You'll Do

As a Project Manager, you will oversee all phases of electrical construction projects while ensuring successful execution, client satisfaction, and financial performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple electrical construction projects simultaneously
  • Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, and forecasts
  • Coordinate project execution from preconstruction through completion
  • Monitor project financials and maintain profitability targets
  • Review drawings, specifications, and project requirements
  • Manage subcontractors, vendors, procurement, and material deliveries
  • Process and manage change orders, RFIs, and project documentation
  • Utilize Procore and other project management tools to track progress and project performance
  • Partner with superintendents and field teams to achieve project milestones
  • Ensure projects comply with NEC requirements, safety standards, and quality expectations
  • Maintain strong communication with clients, leadership, and project stakeholders
  • Support project turnover, closeout, and final documentation

Required Qualifications

Entry-Level Project Manager

  • 1-3+ years of construction project coordination, assistant project management, or field leadership experience
  • Understanding of construction schedules, budgets, and project documentation
  • Desire to build a long-term career in project management

Mid-Level Project Manager

  • 3-7+ years of electrical construction project management experience
  • Track record of managing project budgets, schedules, and client communication
  • Experience overseeing multiple projects simultaneously

Senior Project Manager

  • 7+ years of electrical construction project management experience
  • Proven success managing large commercial, industrial, or mission-critical projects
  • Experience mentoring project teams and driving project strategy
  • Strong financial, operational, and leadership capabilities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Electrical construction experience
  • Knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC)
  • Proficiency with Procore
  • Preconstruction experience
  • Field supervisory or superintendent background
  • Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related degree
  • Experience supporting data center, industrial, manufacturing, or large commercial projects

Pay and Benefits

  • Pay Range: $95,000 - $145,000/yr
