Here's what the opportunity supported through our TGS Talent Acquisition Team requires:
In this position, you would be responsible for analyzing, designing, documenting, and implementing the components, software, and layers required for complex software implementations based on requirements and design specifications. As part of the team responsible for building and delivering a solution, this person will perform tasks such as analysis, design, testing, architecture, planning, estimation, coding, debugging, and knowledge transfer. Team members identify needs, estimate and commit to delivering on those tasks, and track their status through to completion.
Key Accountabilities and Priorities
- Responsible for the analysis of software applications and computer systems
- Assist in analyzing, designing, and developing new software applications, including coding, testing, debugging, and documenting programs in support of the Software Development Life Cycle
Required Education and/or Experience
- 5+ years of experience in object-oriented analysis, design, development, and integration of software products in a company recognized for its software development capability
- 3+ years development experience with Java (j2EE, Hibernate, Spring, etc.)
- Experience with JavaScript / TypeScript
- Experience with Angular or React
- Experience using software best practices like test-driven development (TDD) and continuous integration (CI)
- Experience working with Agile methods and iterative development, such as SCRUM, Kanban, Extreme Programming (XP), and pair programming
- Bachelor's degree / 4-year college degree in Computer Science, or equivalent work experience
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
Requisite Abilities and/or Skills
- Solid experience with design patterns, refactoring, unit testing, and object-oriented analysis/design
- Familiarity with relational databases, preferably Oracle or SQL Server
- Excellent communication skills - must be strong enough for customer-facing situations
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Analyze and understand user and computer systems requirements, as well as design solutions and write specifications for computer programs.
- Participate in software development lifecycle activity; estimating, planning, designing, coding, documenting, and testing of software applications.
- Participate in technical code reviews and guide junior developers.
- Assist in the development of user stories, including feature design and acceptance criteria.
- Align with senior and lead developers on delivering features that meet the documented requirements.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $81,100.00 - $121,700.00/yr. We reserve the right to pay above or below the posted wage based on factors unrelated to sex, race, or any other protected classification. Additional earnings may be available through incentive programs like annual bonuses, profit sharing, etc.
