Job Summary
This contract role involves supporting Product Managers by leading complex research, analysis, and feature development efforts within an enterprise product environment. You will partner closely with product, business, and delivery stakeholders to elicit business needs, identify root causes, and translate ambiguous requests into clearly defined requirements, features, and acceptance criteria for Agile delivery teams.
Key Responsibilities
Business Research & Analysis
- Consult on complex initiatives and feature development efforts, supporting assigned product capabilities and roadmap priorities.
- Partner with product management and stakeholders to elicit business problems, clarify objectives, and identify root causes.
- Conduct impact analysis and evaluate solution options to support informed decision-making.
- Maintain awareness of industry trends, platform capabilities, and emerging practices, applying insights to improve product solutions.
- Familiarity with JIRA, Agile ceremonies, and structured requirements techniques is required.
- Insurance, financial services, or policy administration system experience is preferred (FAST platform familiarity a plus).
Requirements & Feature Development
- Develop and document clear, structured business requirements, translating business needs into features, user stories, acceptance criteria, and supporting documentation for Agile delivery teams.
- Facilitate requirements validation and ensure alignment across business, product, and delivery stakeholders.
- Develop complex acceptance criteria and support validation activities to confirm solutions meet business intent.
Stakeholder Collaboration & Enablement
- Serve as a trusted analytical resource to product managers, delivery teams, and business partners.
- Coordinate across internal stakeholders to ensure solutions address scope, quality, timing, and risk considerations.
- Support prioritization discussions by clearly articulating value, dependencies, risks, and trade-offs.
- Assist with issue resolution by assessing defects, determining business impact, and recommending prioritized responses.
Process Improvement & Change Support
- Identify opportunities to improve analysis practices, documentation quality, and delivery efficiency.
- Champion adoption of improved processes, tools, and standards that reduce rework and enhance solution outcomes.
- Positively support change management efforts within the product and delivery lifecycle.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 3+ years of Business Analysis experience, supporting complex initiatives in an Agile or hybrid delivery environment.
- Proven ability to work closely with Product Managers to support roadmap execution and feature delivery.
- Strong experience with requirements elicitation, documentation, and validation for enterprise systems.
- Comfortable operating with ambiguity and transforming loosely defined ideas into actionable requirements.
- Experience collaborating across business, technology, and delivery teams.
- Strong analytical, facilitation, and written communication skills.

- Pay Rate: $20.00 - $23.00/hr
