Project Manager -- Data Migration (Remote)

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and support complex data migration initiatives in preparation for a modern data platform transformation.

This role will focus on driving execution, maintaining organization across multiple workstreams, and ensuring successful delivery of critical data projects. The ideal candidate will bring strong data migration experience, excellent stakeholder management skills, and the ability to provide structure and momentum in a fast-moving environment.

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of project management experience, including large-scale initiatives.
  • Proven experience leading data migration or data transformation projects.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) or similar project tracking tools.

Leadership

  • Lead end-to-end execution of mid- to large-scale data migration projects.
  • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, risks, and dependencies.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned to business objectives.

Data Migration Oversight

  • Support migration of multiple large data marts to a new data platform.
  • Coordinate across technical teams to ensure seamless transition and minimal disruption.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with data transformation and migration efforts.

Agile & Scrum Execution

  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies and ensure adherence to Scrum best practices.
  • Partner with technical teams to maintain backlog, sprint priorities, and delivery cadence.
  • Drive continuous improvement in Agile processes and execution.

Stakeholder Management

  • Act as primary point of contact for key stakeholders and leadership.
  • Communicate project status, risks, and progress clearly and proactively.
  • Facilitate decision-making and alignment across cross-functional teams.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Seattle, WA. This is a fully remote position.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $75.00/hr.
